Less than 3 months and counting. It's crunch time. The good news is we gave ourselves a year and a half to prepare and everything seems to be falling into place quite nicely. Just need to add some final touches to the invites and then it's time to stamp 'em and ship 'em. We're really stoked on how they came out. They were more work than we had imagined but making them was a lot like exercise; it can be a tedious task at times, but as soon as you're done, you're proud of yourself for putting in the effort. After that labour of love is finished, we'll pop open some red red wine. No pun intended and no, UB40 will not be on the playlist.
Which brings me to the next thing on the checklist. The playlist. A much tougher task then we had imagined. We have the main tunes down, it's just the ones in the middle that are the hardest. The dance jams. R&B or 80's? Reggae or disco? It's a tough job but we're confident we'll come up with an awesome score for our day.
As much as you attempt to plan things, in the end, anything and everything can happen that day. This makes it exciting, and the the excitement meter is going up every day.
